The Morpho Carver won't turn on

If your Morpho Carver isn't responding when you try to start it, work through the following steps.

Step 1 — Check the battery

A depleted battery is the most common cause. Remove the cover, connect the USB Type C cable to the charging port, plug into the AC adapter, and charge until the red charging lamp turns off (fully charged). Then try again.

Step 2 — Check how you're starting it

The Morpho Carver requires a long press (hold) to power on — not a quick tap.

  • Daily mode: Hold the D button down to start in CMP mode
  • Weekly mode: Hold the W button down to start Weekly mode

A quick press will not turn the device on.

Step 3 — Check the charging cable and adapter

  • Ensure the charging port cover has been removed before connecting the cable
  • Make sure the cable is fully seated in both the device and the adapter
  • Try a different wall outlet
  • Use only the included USB Type C cable and AC adapter — third-party accessories may not charge the device correctly

Step 4 — Auto-off check

The device automatically shuts off 5 minutes after starting. If the device turned off during use, this is normal behaviour — simply hold the D or W button to restart.
