The Morpho isn't charging or won't hold a charge

Not charging at all

If the red indicator light does not come on when you plug the device in:

  1. Check the USB Type C cable — ensure it is fully seated in both the device port and the adapter. Try reseating both ends.
  2. Try a different wall outlet — the outlet itself may have no power
  3. Use only the included cable and adapter — third-party accessories are not guaranteed to work and may fail to charge the device
  4. Check for debris in the charging port — gently inspect the USB port for any dust or obstruction and carefully clear if needed

If none of the above resolves it, the charging port or battery may have a fault. Contact us at support@chouohctokyo.com.


Charging but losing charge very quickly

If the device charges (red light comes on) but the battery depletes much faster than expected:

  • Ensure you are charging fully to green before use — partial charging over time can affect battery performance
  • Avoid leaving the device in direct sunlight or extreme heat — this degrades lithium batteries
  • If the battery life has noticeably worsened over time, this may indicate natural battery aging — contact us at support@chouohctokyo.com and we can advise based on your warranty status
