How to charge your remote (controller)
The remote is the power source for your CHOUOHC Radiance LED Mask. Here's how to charge it correctly and what to look for.
What you need
- The charging cord included in the box
- The power adapter included in the box
Do not use a phone charger, laptop USB port, or any third-party adapter. Using unofficial accessories is the most common cause of charging problems.
Charging steps
- Plug the charging cord into the remote
- Plug the other end into the provided power adapter
- Plug the adapter into a wall outlet
- Leave the remote to charge for 3 full hours
- The indicator lights on the remote will be on during charging
- When the lights turn off, the remote is fully charged
Important: the lights turn off when it's done
This is counterintuitive — many customers expect the lights to stay on when fully charged. With the CHOUOHC remote, the lights going off means charging is complete. Do not unplug before the lights turn off.
How long does the battery last?
A fully charged remote powers approximately 3 full sessions before needing to be recharged. Each session is up to 20 minutes. You should expect to recharge every few days with daily use — not after every single session.
If you're finding the battery drains after just one session consistently, something may be wrong with the battery. See our troubleshooting guide: Remote / controller not charging or won't hold a charge.
Can I charge and use it at the same time?
No. Charge the remote fully before use. Do not attempt to run a session while the remote is plugged into the charger.
