How to charge The Pearl
Before you charge
Make sure The Pearl is switched off before charging, especially before first use or when the battery is low. The device cannot be used while the cable is connected.
How to charge
- Connect the Type-C end of the supplied cable to the charging port on the base of The Pearl.
- Connect the USB end to a wall adapter and plug it into the wall.
- The three EMS level lights fill up one by one as it charges.
- Charging is complete when all three lights are lit.
- Unplug the cable from both the device and the adapter.
Which adapter to use
A wall adapter is not included with The Pearl.
- Use a standard USB wall adapter rated 5V 2A or lower.
- Use the supplied charging cable.
- Fast chargers or high-output adapters (above 5V 2A) can cause a malfunction.
- USB-C to USB-C cables, high-output cables, and some portable power banks may not charge The Pearl.
- Plug the adapter directly into the wall rather than an extension lead.

Since each session is up to 4 minutes, a full charge typically covers many sessions. Times vary with the levels you use and the charging environment.
Low battery signal
When the battery is running low, the Hot/Cool indicator flashes 5 times and the device beeps 5 times. Switch it off and charge it.
Battery care tips
- Charge in a dry place between 15 and 35°C for the best battery life.
- If you will not use The Pearl for a while, charge it fully, then use and recharge it about once a month.
- Do not charge in a bathroom or other humid space, and never handle the cable with wet hands.
- Do not use the cable if it is damaged or the plug is loose.
