What The Pearl does
The Pearl brings three kinds of care together in one handheld device:
- EMS with three levels, in Face mode and Body mode
- Heat (about 38 to 42°C) and Cool (about 13 to 18°C)
- LED light in red, blue, or purple depending on the mode
It is designed for the jawline and face line, and for the shoulders, décolletage, upper arms, waist, thighs, and calves. Sessions are short: up to 2 minutes per area and 4 minutes in total, daily.
The Pearl is a personal beauty device, not a medical device.
Who should not use The Pearl
Do not use The Pearl if you have:
- A pacemaker or any other implanted medical electronic device
- A life-support device such as an artificial heart
- A wearable medical electronic device such as an ECG monitor
Please consult your doctor before using The Pearl if any of these apply:
- You are pregnant or have recently given birth
- You have a heart condition, a malignant tumour, an acute illness, or an infectious disease
- You have a blood disorder, a circulation condition, or diabetes-related circulation problems
- You are receiving medical treatment or taking medication, or have recently had surgery or a cosmetic procedure
- You have metal implants, a skin condition, a skin sensitivity, or an allergy to metals
- You have a neurological or sensory condition, an autoimmune disease, high or low blood pressure, or bruise easily
- Your doctor has advised you against massage
- You are sensitive to electrical stimulation
The Pearl should not be used by children, by anyone who cannot express how they feel, or alone by anyone with a visual impairment. Please do not use EMS on the neck, and do not use The Pearl alongside other low or high frequency devices.
If you are unsure, please check with your doctor first. We also recommend a patch test before first use.

A wall adapter is not included. Any USB wall adapter rated 5V 2A or lower will work.
Warranty
The Pearl is covered by a 1-year warranty against manufacturing defects from the date of purchase. Coverage is automatic for the original purchaser. There is nothing to register, and you do not need to fill in the warranty card.
The warranty card is on the last page of the instruction manual. If you ever need to make a claim, please contact us at support@chouohctokyo.com rather than the contact details printed in the manual.
Please note The Pearl's warranty is 1 year, which differs from the 2-year warranty on our other devices.
